Beware of computer scams.

Today’s world is full of scammers who want to steal from you without ever leaving their home! Be aware of any phone calls saying that one of your accounts has been hacked, or an unauthorized purchase. These are attempts to gain access to your computer. Giving these unscrupulous people access to your computer WILL ONLY RESULT IN TROUBLE!

We have seen users give access to to complete strangers to their bank and email accounts. This MUST stop, but ONLY YOU can prevent it. NEVER LET ANYONE ACCESS YOUR COMPUTER UNLESS YOU KNOW THEM PERSONALLY! Either hang up on those calls, or tell them you don’t own a computer. Tell them anything, but NEVER give them access to your PC (or any account). This includes emails you receive, but most of the time these days they will be calling you and talking you into giving them access. NEVER DO THIS! Otherwise you’ll be calling us to remove the remote software and malware from your computer.
